Why S’ip by S’well?

Meet S’ip by S’well, the fun and fashionable hydration accessory that looks great and does good. S’ip by S’well was launched in 2016 as a way to extend S’well’s mission to create fashionable products that give back—customers can be proud that their purchase supports our mission to rid the world of single-use plastic water bottles and aid communities in need. Each S’ip by S’well product is insulated to keep your beverages hot or cold, making hydration on-the-go easier and more enjoyable than ever. With its range of on-trend colors and playful patterns, S’ip by S’well adds whimsy and style to your every day.

Can I put my S’ip by S’well in the refrigerator/freezer?

Our vacuum seal keeps any liquid you place inside cold for 24 hours, so there’s no need to place in a freezer or refrigerator. Doing so can actually damage the bottle and its vacuum seal.

Can I use my S’ip by S’well to keep liquids fresh?

S’ip by S’well bottles are not intended for the long-term storage of liquids. Alcohol, fermented or dairy-based beverages can spoil and may cause excessive pressure buildup in bottle, which can lead to lid failure and injury.

How do I clean/store my bottle?

S’ip by S’well bottles are NOT dishwasher safe. Running a S’ip by S’well through the dishwasher can cause paint to chip and the vacuum seal to become ineffective.

CLEANING: S’ip by S’well bottles are simply cleaned with a mixture of hot water and soap. Our brush is a great tool to ensure your S’ip by S’well is as clean as the day you got it! Finally, we recommend using effervescent tablets for those hard to reach places. Rinse your S’ip by S’well after every use. Always dry and store your S’well with the top off. Avoid submerging your bottle and cap in water for long periods of time as this will interfere with the vacuum seal.

STORING: After washing your S’ip by S’well, we recommend that you dry your bottle by airing it out upside down and storing it with the lid off. ”

What is a S’ip by S’well bottle made of?

S’ip by S’well bottles are made of high-quality, 18/8, food-grade stainless steel. They are BPA-free, providing a healthier and safer option to single-use beverage containers.

Where does S’ip by S’well manufacture its product?

Our bottles and beverage containers are thoughtfully designed in New York City and are responsibly made in China.

What is the size and weight of a S’ip by S’well bottle?

10oz. = 8.25″” H x 2.5″” W, 0.5 lbs
15oz. = 10.39” H x 2.80” W, 0.69 lbs
23oz. = 11.75″” H x 3.2″” W, 0.94 lbs

Can S’ip by S’well provide testing/ compliance documentation regarding materials and safety certifications?

Please note that S’ip by S’well bottles are made of 18/8, food-grade stainless steel. Additionally, S’ip by S’well bottles have been certified to meet all regulatory requirements by an independent and accredited testing facility. S’well does not provide testing documentation to our customers.

Do S’ip by S’well bottles scratch?

S’ip by S’well bottles are subject to normal wear and tear if not treated with care. S’ip by S’well bottles can dent when subject to a large enough impact, so be careful when using and transporting the bottle. This means no playing frisbee with it! If for some reason, you receive a brand new S’ip by S’well bottle with a dent or paint chip, that’s a different story. In that case, please contact customteam@sipbyswell.com.

Warranty & Returns

What is the warranty on S’ip by S’well products?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well does not accept returns or exchanges. If you have received a defective S’ip by S’well product that has been ordered using either our Custom or Corporate Gifting portal, please send an email to customops@swellbottle.com within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the product with proof of purchase, reason for claim and pictures of your product. Specifically, please send a full-length photo of the front of the product, the bottom of the product and the claimed damage or defective area, if applicable.

S’well will review all cases. In the event that S’well deems a replacement is necessary, we will replace the product with the same style and size. If that product is not available, a credit will be issued.

S’well’s fourteen day warranty does not cover any issues due to improper use, normal wear and tear, or loss / theft of the product.

What is the S’ip by S’wells return policy?

At this time we do not accept returns or exchanges.

Order Requirements and Guidelines

What is your order minimum?

Custom orders:
The minimum order size is 100 bottles per style/size.

Corporate Gifting orders:
The minimum order size is 48 bottles per style/size.

Can I order Custom or Corporate Gifts below your minimums?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well is unable to fulfill orders below our minimums at this time.

How can I place an order?

Custom orders:

Can I see a mock-up of my custom S’ip by S’well order?

Custom orders:
A virtual proof of your Custom order will be provided 1-2 business days after your application has been approved.

Are there any specifications for how I can customize my S’ip by S’well product?

Custom orders:
S’well reserves the right to approve or deny any customization to S’ip by S’well bottles. All custom orders are managed by S’well. For more information, please contact us at corporatesales@swellbottle.com.

Modes of Decoration
Logos can be laser engraved (etched down to the stainless steel S’ip by S’well product) or printed in up to three Pantone colors of your choice. All printed artwork must specify a Pantone color. There is no difference in price between engraving and printing.

Format
All logos or other graphics must be provided in vector format (either .ai or .eps format).

Dimensions
The dimensions our decorators work within are predicated on whether you prefer your Custom S’ip by S’wells to be engraved or printed. The maximum dimensions are listed below:

Engraving
9oz: 3” H x 1.5” W
17oz: 4.7″” H x 1.5″” W
25oz: 6″” H x 1.75″” W

Printing
9oz: 3″” H x 1″” W
17oz: 4.7″” H x 1″” W
25oz: 6″” H x 1.25″” W

Placement
1. Decoration is always placed on the side opposite the S’ip by S’well logo.
2. Please specify horizontal or vertical placements.

Restrictions
Logos or artwork that relate to political and religious organizations, contact information, or any evidence of an unhealthy lifestyle would not be approved by our Custom Sales team.

Can S’well provide examples of engraving and printing?

Can I receive a quote for an order?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:

What forms of payment does S’well accept?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well can only accept payment via Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) and ACH wire transfer.

Do you have a set-up charge?

Custom orders:
Each order incurs a one-time, $85 set-up charge.

Corporate Gifting orders:
There is no set-up charge for orders made on our Corporate Gifting portal.

Am I eligible for any discounts?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:

All orders made through our Custom and Corporate Gifting portals receive special pricing. To learn about current or upcoming promotions, email us at corporatesales@swellbottle.com to sign up for our mailing list and receive updates.

How can I review which products are available to order?

Custom orders:
Please contact us at customteam@sipbyswellbottle.com for a catalog featuring all available styles.

Corporate Gifting orders:
An online catalog featuring S’ip by S’well products is available to order via our Corporate Gifting portal and will be made available once your application has been approved.

What do I do if the S’well I would like to order is unavailable?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
Not all S’ip by S’well bottles are available for bulk purchasing or customization. Please contact us at customteam@sipbyswellbottle.com for a catalog featuring all available styles.

Can I order S’well products for my company’s Gift With Purchase program?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well guidelines restrict the purchase of S’ip by S’wells for Gift with Purchase programs. We do have an opportunity to change the language and communication of these types of programs to “Thank You” programs in which S’well would not be used to build incremental sales, but instead would be gifted after the fact.

Can I order different types of S’wells in one order?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well can only accept orders of one color and one style.

Can S’well donate Custom or Corporate Gifts?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:

Order Process

Can S’well send a sample?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
Unfortunately, we are unable to send samples of S’ip by S’wells at this time.

How can I update my username/password information?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
Please contact us corporatesales@swellbottle.com. We are happy to manually update the information requested.

Can I customize S’ip by S’well products myself?

Custom orders:
All custom orders are managed by S’well. In the event that buyers purchase blank S’ip by S’well products through our Corporate Gifting portal and customize S’well products through an entity other than S’well, buyers must provide S’well with the opportunity to approve of any customization to S’ip by S’well products prior to the production of their customization. Can I change a facet of my order before it is shipped?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
We are able to edit an order until it has been paid. Once an order is confirmed and paid, no changes can be facilitated.

Can I cancel my order?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
We can cancel an order prior to submission of payment. For all cancellation requests, please contact us at corporatesales@swellbottle.com.

Can I order S’ip by S’well products to resell online?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
If you have a Reseller Number/Tax ID, and would like to apply to become an official S’ip by S’well Retailer, please include your Reseller Number/Tax ID in your application. S’well does not allow buyers to resell online, except with explicit written permission. This includes website(s), Amazon.com, or any other online marketplace. For more information, please contact us at corporatesales@swellbottle.com.

Can I order Sip by S’wells to resell internationally?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well does not currently facilitate orders from international resellers at this time.

Is S’well a member of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI)?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well is not a member of ASI, though we do work directly with its members. For a quote, please contact us at corporatesales@swellbottle.com.

Does S’well accept Purchase Orders?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
We do not accept Purchase Orders at this time. We ask our customers to please complete our applications. Please be sure to enter your PO number in the PO field of the application you are submitting.

Can S’well expedite orders?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
S’well is unable to expedite orders at this time.

How can I reorder?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
Customers will be presented with the option of reordering after logging into our Custom or Corporate Gifting portals.

Shipping

Does S’well ship internationally?

Custom and Corporate Gifting Orders:
At this time, we only ship within the US. All Canadian order inquiries can be forwarded to our Canadian Distributor, Koru, at custom@korudistribution.com. All other international inquires can be forwarded to our International team at globalsales@swellbottle.com.

How much does shipping cost?

Custom Orders:
*Merchandise and applicable freight charges will be invoiced when order is processed.

Contiguous 48 States in the US
(excluding Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories)
Order quantities of 100-249 units will ship via UPS at a rate of $1.50 per bottle
Order quantities of 250-499 units will ship via freight truck at a flat rate of $350
Order quantities of 500-999 units will ship via freight truck at a flat rate of $500
Order quantities of 1000 units and above: please contact our team at customops@swellbottle.com for a quote.
*All orders over 2500 units will have shipping charges added once your order is approved.
*Please note that, if your bottles are shipped directly to your booth at a tradeshow/convention center, extra shipping fees may apply.

Corporate Gifting Orders:
Order Quantities 49 -199 units will ship UPS ground at a rate of $1.57 per bottle
Order Quantities of 200 units and above will ship freight. (Orders sent to the East Coast will ship at a flat rate of $200. Orders sent to the West Coast will ship at a flat rate of $300).
*All orders over 2500 units will have shipping charges added once your order is approved.
*Please note that, if your bottles are shipped directly to your booth at a tradeshow/convention center, extra shipping fees may apply.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Custom orders:
Standard lead time is 2-3 weeks from date of approved proof and receipt of prepayment. All orders over 2500 units may incur longer lead times.

Corporate Gifting orders:
Standard lead time is 5-7 business days from date of approved proof and receipt of prepayment. All orders over 2500 units may incur longer lead times.

What Carrier Does S’well Use?

Custom and Corporate Gifting Orders:
We primarily use UPS Ground to ship Custom and Corporate Gifting orders. If you would like to use your own shipping account to send your order, please include the account number in your order application.

What if I have a special shipping request?

Custom and Corporate Gifting orders:
Please add any special shipping requests to the ‘Purpose for Use’ field of your order application.
